Cardiovascular MRI/MRA
Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has a wide range of clinical applications. Many of these applications are commonly employed in clinical practice—for example, in the evaluation of congenital heart disease, cardiac masses, the pericardium, right ventricular dysplasia, and hibernating myocardium.
Tower Saint John’s Imaging new high field GE 3T 750w MRI scanner can help evaluate patients with the following conditions:
- Cardiac MRI
- viability and function
- ischemic and non-ischemic heart disease
- cardiac masses or thrombus
- arrhythmia
- valve disease
- EP planning with hi-res views of pulmonary veins and left atrial scar evaluation
- viability and function
- MR Angiography Chest, Abdomen, & Pelvis
- In patients with renal failure all exams can be performed without contrast
- Aortic disease, including aortic root aneurysms using EKG gating. Our MRAs are just as accurate as EKG gated CT Angiography without the ionizing radiation.
- Renal artery stenosis
- Mesenteric artery disease including stenosis or
aneurysm
